DEA Take-Back
We were at Kaiser Permanente Sand Canyon on October 22nd, 2016 to help with the National DEA Take-Back-Day. We collected unused and expired medications and educated the community about the importance of proper disposal of medications. Prescription drug abuse is one of the most rampant problems in Orange County. In future projects we hope to educate high school students about the dangers of misuse of prescription and OTC medications. We hope to reinforce the message of safe drug disposal so we can put an end to the opioid epidemic.
